Untitled 0.8 (16×20, oil on glass)

I was framing a few of the pieces I had completed in my garage one weekend afternoon. I was working with some nice looking black frames I had found at a local art store and was removing the glass and setting them aside so I wouldn’t bump or break them.

You never know where an idea will come from.

When completing one of the frames, I was thinking about what I was going to do with the 16×20 glass that had been removed from the frames. Suddenly I realized I wanted to experiment with painting on both sides of the glass to get some interesting reflective qualities and depth.

After some research, I had a plan.

Creatively, my mind processes these words: Movement. Memory. Earth.
