After painting for my daughter, it only took a short amount of time before my son wanted a piece for himself.
He was much less specific with what he wanted, but showed me a few things he was interested it. The conversation started with colors. After listening to him, I showed him these colors:

He was pleased with the colors, but really was most interested in having a painting that I did for him. I knew once the paint was on the canvas, that something else was going to happen. The work began.

The process of this work took on a life of its own, and what was created was turned out to be something he was thrilled to have. Having conversations with him about the process and the final piece is the true gift to me.
