Untitled 0.9 (16×20, oil on glass)

After working on my first oil on glass painting, I was really inspired to plan and begin another.

I had some ideas to tape up areas on both sides of the glass  to cause some additional layering and effects with light once complete.

I had some color and movement ideas I wanted to incorporate into this painting and I also wanted to prominently feature one of my favorite colors: yellow.

This piece is a very emotional one for me. A few words I’m focusing on during the process: Life. Escape. Joy. Grief.
