This commissioned work was a joy to create.

It began with some text message discussions on important colors, the location that it would hang and some general thoughts on the overall composition.

I spend a great deal of time with my commission clients to get an understanding of not only where the painting will be placed, but why the painting is important to them.

This piece expresses all of those conversations.
